Our journey of innovation reached a major milestone with the launch of Kingfish, India's first premium floating fish feed brand. By combining superior product quality with strong farmer-focused technical support, Kingfish transformed the aquaculture feed market and set new industry benchmarks.
Building on this success, the company entered the rapidly growing shrimp feed segment in 2017 with the launch of ifeed. Guided by the same commitment to excellence, innovation, and farmer success, ifeed witnessed exceptional growth and quickly emerged as one of India's top three shrimp feed brands.
Our Growth Story
Vision 2030 Milestone
Targeting 6.0 Lakh MT feed sales by volume, 50,000 engaged employees, and 20,000 MT frozen foods exports with products and services accessible to all corners of aquaculture.
Sattupalli Expansion
Scaling production at Sattupalli, Telangana with 82 acres of land for new expansion, targeting Kingfish 0.2 mil MT, ifeed 0.3 mil MT & Frozen Foods 0.15 mil MT/annum capacity.
Major Capacity Expansion
Production capacity expanded to 2,00,000 metric tons for Kingfish and 3,00,000 metric tons for ifeed, reinforcing multi-plant scale-up.
ifeed Growth Acceleration
ifeed crossed 1,36,000 metric tons. Overall production capacity reached around 2,00,000 metric tons during the expansion phase.
Processing & Exports
Processing and export operations scaled with about 200 metric tons per month, strengthening quality systems and external market readiness.
Dual-Brand Scale-Up
ifeed reached 90,000 metric tons while Kingfish sustained about 1,80,000 metric tons scale; BAP-driven quality push strengthened brand trust.
ifeed Launch & Capacity Jump
ifeed launched on Jan 29, marking a major shrimp-feed milestone. Kingfish production capacity increased to around 1,80,000 metric tons.
R&D Foundation and ifeed Birth
Research & Development strengthened as Kingfish crossed 1,50,000 metric tons. ifeed was born on Nov 4 as the company entered the shrimp segment.
Kingfish #1 Position
Kingfish emerged as the No. 1 floating fish feed brand in India and achieved about 1,15,000 metric tons scale.
Operational Growth
Reached roughly 70,474 metric tons output as manufacturing and distribution footprint matured.
Capacity Doubled with NIR
Production capacity doubled to 1,20,000 metric tons. Kingfish achieved around 61,878 metric tons and the lab was equipped with NIR.
Kingfish Beginning
Early Kingfish journey scaled to about 20,073 metric tons, with production capacity at 60,000 metric tons.
Genesis of Nexgen
Started as a small fish in a big pond. The founding phase began with about 120 employees and a clear aquaculture-first vision.
